Today is a great day for Australia and for the Australian people. Today marks a new page in our country’s history, a day where we all stand united under one flag, a day that we truly speak in one voice. Today we look to the future, a future with no poverty and no hunger, a future with no unemployment and one with no tax. I see a future with no injustice, no lengthy court battles, no hatred and no more crime. There will be no tears because there will be no more lies. There will be no more skills shortage and no low paying jobs. There will be no uneducated with free tertiary education for all. The brain drain will be a thing of the past. No Australian family will be worse off under one united flag. There will be no hospital waiting lists because there will be no sickness. There will be no more pollution, no acid rain and no smog. There will be no more traffic on the roads or queues at the bank. All of this under one flag. All of this under my flag!
